I’ve been saying for a long time that I think it’s hard to get great photos at night time. Santa made my wish come true about a new camera and Lisa and Joakim gave me a photo session with a great photographer!! Yeah!
Lazy, cozy pajamas Christmas Day morning so far. But now it’s time to get ready and cook some food. Today we are gonna celebrate American Christmas in Marc and Jana’s house!
Yes, finally my renovation house is on the market, list price $599 000.

I’m so in love with this house :)
December is the worst month to list a house… it’s just to cross my fingers and hope for the best :) It’s been lots of fun and I’m super happy with the result of the house. It’s just been taking way to long time to get it done. Three months turned into seven. And time is money. I have learned a lot from this project and will bring my experience with me to my next project!
We started the day with Eddie-Bo’s hockey game. Oliver just wanted to be outside in the snow.
He thought it was the coolest thing ever :)
We also took a trip to Swea’s Christmas fair.
After that we had our massage therapist coming to our house. The best. I let Miriam soak in a hot bubble bath after the massage.
She thought she had checked into a spa, and I said that’s included when you stay in our guest suite :)
The kids love the snow and have been outside for hours today, so happy!!
I also decorated a little bit more. I’m now ready to go all in. I want more. Tomorrow I might buy a X-mas tree. Big one. Big.
I have my cleaning ladies in the house at the moment, which is lovely.
The past two days I’ve been organizing the kids closets and the closet in the mud hall which ended up with lots of clothes for donation.
I also did some more Christmas decorating in the house. Slowly I add a few pieces now and then.
I feel it’s too early to go all in, right? I know most Swedes decorate way later then Americans.
And as you can tell when it comes to that, I go American style!
We have many yards/meters of white linen drapes in our house and I think it gives the house a cozy feeling. The ones in the stairway is also good for privacy since the neighbor’s house is really close.
I’ve always been thinking if I should add some more linen drapes in the kitchen. I do like these windows without window treatments but I also think it would look really nice with matchy matchy drapes.
What do you think?
A couple of weeks ago I found this amazing Swedish apartment on some realtor site.
I can’t remember now which one. If you know, please tell me!!
There were so many great houses and apartments for sale. A great inspiration site for us interior lovers.
I’m pretty sure this apartment got sold incredible fast.
Love everything about it. To add a window between two rooms is a great idea. And when the window looks like that, oh me like!!
Simply white roses, simply beautiful. And these tall candle sticks are new favorites.
Love the mix of marlble, gold and silver.
I’m still dreaming about a new coffee table and rug. When my renovation house is done, which is soon (I know i have been saying that for a while… but now it’s true. I think… hehe)
So a coffee table and rug might be like a “job well done” kind of gift for myself :)
Now I’m gonna book a driver. A fab dinner with friends are coming up later tonight.
I was very productive last night and today. Organized the mud hall, took care of paper work and laundry and best of all I got these pictures up. The one on the top is my favorite. Makes me smile :)
And I loved the prints that Lina picked out for me. Now I need to order frames.
The guys are back from their roadtrip. We met up for a great lunch at Beaus, we all got adjusted, thank you Marc! After that we took a trip to the mall and ended the night with dinner at home. Oh, Pirri also cut my hair tonight. We used to work together as stylists in Sweden.
A great Thursday!
