I’m a very social person and I love having people in my house all the time. But I also love being all alone. The guys took a little road trip to Cleveland to watch NBA. So right now I’m sitting in front of the fireplace listening to music and reading Swedish magazines. So so cozy!!
I know it’s a little early, but I already have a little Christmas feeling in my body. Earlier today I was singing Holy night really loud in the car. 100.3 is the radio station that now only plays Christmas songs :)
Now I’m gonna see what’s hiding in these tubes. I’m so curios! Before my friends came into town I called Lina (my younger brother’s girlfriend with awesome taste). I asked her to buy me two prints to one of our guest rooms and send them with my friends. I’ll show you another day. The other two black and white prints I found at Ikea the other day.
I bought these lights on a cord long time ago from Crate and Barrel, and my plan was to hang them outside on the porch.
Well, that never happened, but now they are hanging in Eddie-Bo’s room instead. Very cosy!
Lovely slow morning in the house. We have been watching Curious George (again), eating a late breakfast and than our friend Lisa came by with these gorgeous flowers, thank you!! I put them in our dining room and I realized that I haven’t showed you that room yet, so here we go!
Now when the fall is here I like to use the the dining room. It’s very cozy to sit here eating dinner. Tonight I’ll make a yummy fish soup. But first I’m heading over to my renovation house to do more painting.
Here’s my lovely velvet couches I was talking about yesterday. The tufted ottoman is also a favorite that I bought in Toronto a couple of years ago. I still think a few blue pillows and a new cosy rug would be nice down here. My plan was to turn on the fire place, but the batteries were out in the remote control. Batteries added to my shopping list :) I wish there was just a button to use… I mean how many remote controls do you need in a house??
I’ve turned into a night blogger :) I should go to bed but I’m sitting in front of the fire and watching The Voice right now (damn they are all so good). Love that show!
Poor Oliver is sick. He was up coughing all night. So I’ve been so tired today. This crazy blood moon also messed up my sleep all weekend too, haha.
Taking Oliver with me to IKEA today as planned, was not an option. Instead we’ve been home cuddling, playing and watching movie while Eddie-Bo was in school. I also had to cancel a hearing test for Oliver. He doesn’t talk almost at all so we are starting speech therapy soon. Can’t wait to hear him talk. I have a feeling he will be a funny little boy :) He’s already a character.
During his nap I got a lot done in the house, like taking care of paper work, bills, cleaning, and I also installed my new computer. Woohoo!
Later in the afternoon Mark our massage therapist came to our house . He’s amazing!
Eddie-Bo is also a big fan of Mark. Always 10 minutes massage for him, so cute!
We’ve been having a great day. Once again, hockey practise for Eddie-Bo 7.30 in the MORNING (my hubby just said -welcome to life baby, hehe)… My little hockeyplayer totally loves it, so it’s all worth it. We also went to a fun birthday party, held at Troy gymnastics. All the kids had a blast. I need to sign up Oliver for a class there. That place is made for my busy little man!
We started the morning with Eddie-Bo’s hockey practice, followed by meeting with the counter top guy at my renovation house. After that we’ve just been chilling at home. Sushi and a trip to the Joe is on tonight’s schedule.
