Happy Saturday

Hello! It’s me :) This is how neat my living room was for about 7 minutes today…

1G6A6089.jpg
…before this little stinker showed up and got all his fire trucks out to take out the real fire and ran thru the sofa! Haha, life!

We had a slow and nice morning before Eddie-Bo’s practice started at 11am, so nice! Tomorrow his game starts 7.40am, that is so early…
We have no plans for rest of the day. The kids just took a long bath and they are now playing well and having fun together. Piece and quiet, love it! So far at least :)

I hope you are having a nice Saturday!

After many sunny days I’m more than ok with a rainy day. I’m at the moment having some cozy time with Eddie-Bo in front of the fireplace and candles. We are watching a show and eating homemade chocolate balls while Oliver is at speech therapy. I love spending some one on one time with the kids.

I did pilates in the morning and had a meeting with the bank, and got some other work done. Productive day and still lots of time with the kids, me like!

And later today we have our massage therapist coming to our house, nope I’m not complaining about this day!

Movie night with the kids

Pictures from our Master suite.

Good evening! Me and the kids just had a very cozy movie night. The sofa, from Restoration Hardware, is so comfy and I love this area in our Master suite. When I was sitting there under the blanket in front of the fireplace I started to feel that I’m ready for the fall. September is here, but it’s still hot outside, but with a/c in the house you kind of forget about that.

Now time for a quick clean up and after that back to the sofa. Narcos (about Pablo Escobar) is coming up, our “new” show and I think it’s really good.

The fireplace

The renovation is going in slooow motion… but I just realized that I haven’t showed you the fireplace, designed by me and I think it turned out great. At the moment I’m keeping the color as it is, I love cement. We haven’t painted the walls yet, so when that’s done I’ll see if the fireplace will get some fresh paint as well. The white vents will be changed to black ones. And I can’t wait to fill the “holes” with logs. I’m in love with my fireplace!

Hello there! How are you? What a beautiful winter day. I’m looking forward to spend a few hours outside, but first I need to run errands, do laundry and pack up our bags. I’m so excited, stay tuned!

Later tonight I hope there will be time for a Sunday movie in front of the fireplace. Love to cuddle up in our comfy sofa in our bedroom suite!

I’m so in love with this house :)

December is the worst month to list a house… it’s just to cross my fingers and hope for the best :) It’s been lots of fun and I’m super happy with the result of the house. It’s just been taking way to long time to get it done. Three months turned into seven. And time is money. I have learned a lot from this project and will bring my experience with me to my next project!

If you are interested in the house click here.

All the beams and this great fireplace and brick floor were here before the renovation started and that was a big reason why I bought this house. So charming!! I think :)

Tomorrow afternoon I really think we can put up the “For Sale” sign!! Yeah!!

Baby shower

Today I went to a fun Baby shower for five weeks old Baby Hunter (love the name). It was so much fun. I met lots of friends I haven’t seen in a very long time.

These two Canadian girls, love you!! Mom Julie with the star of the party, Hunter, me and Rachel. The funniest sisters I know. They took really good care of me when I first moved here and we’ve had so much fun together (read hard partying). Now sadly they are both living in Canada, but their parents are still here so I get to see them every now and then.

Baby shower means a shower of gifts :)

I asked the host Robin, if I could take some photos to show you. She said yes :)
Their pool area is amazing!!

Beautiful house with amazing landscaping. And you know what, Robin’s husband Jim owns a landscaping company, who btw did our backyard! I only brought my zoom less lens so I had to go all the way back to the neighbor’s lot, and I still couldn’t fit the whole house in the picture :)

So neat and perfect.
