Fresh flowers from Papa Joes!
These long candle sticks are back in the living room, from CB2 and the big blueish/smoke hurricanes are from Restoration Hardware.
Hi from a snowy Birmingham!! It has been snowing a LOT, and yesterday all schools were closed -snow day is what they call it. It surprises me every time. I think that happened one time of all my school years in Sweden :) But, I’m not complaining. Me and the boys had a fun day. We went bowling and went to see the new movie Pete the Rabbit! It was so good and we were all laughing a lot. My favorite James Corden, from Carpool Karaoke, is the voice of Pete :)
Today we had hockey early in the morning, than some of my girlfriends with kiddos came over, and now I’m saying hi to you while the boys are sledding, and tonight we are going out for dinner and drinks!!
Beautiful fresh flowers from Fleur Detroit, my favorite flower shop in this area. The black candle is also from there. I have to see if they come in more colors… It’s time to get rid of all Halloween decorations and now I’m starting to dream about Xmas… most wonderful time of the year!!
Super sized hydrangea direct from the garden! And from now on candles every night are a must, so cozy. The candle holders were from the beginning scented candles from Restoration Hardware. Reusing as its best! They work perfect as vases too.
Beautiful gladiolus in a vase from Restoration Hardware cheer me up a little on this rainy and sad day…
…I’m feeling low today. Life with my dear husband fighting PCS (post concussion syndrome) and depression is not easy. It’s painful to see someone you love so much suffer ♥ I will write a little bit more about it tomorrow.
GLAD PÅSK // HAPPY EASTER!!!
I wish you a wonderful weekend with lots of food, candy and love ♥
Easter decoration! Love my new eggs that was a gift from Sweden (will update from where when I know…) We just got home from an Egg hunt and a meeting with Easter Bunny :) Ans the weather is amazing, so we been outside all day long, love it!!
Now it’s time for me to get ready for the last visit to the Joe! A big good bye party is waiting after the game, plus a party for our friend Henrik Zetterberg that will play his 1000 game tonight, how cool!! And oh my, it was so awesome to watch Eddie-Bo play last night, yes I cried!! He says he scored, but I need to look at the review, it was a lot of sticks involved in that moment :)
Have a wonderful Sunday peeps!!
Hello beautiful Friday! From freezing degrees to 70F/20C just in a few days! We’re back home after a family bike ride into town, with a stop at the frozen yoghurt place, yum :)
I brought some spring down to our basement.
A little tip, I made a side table out of this planter, just turned it up side down. Quick fix! (Old planter from Target).
Time to go outside again and enjoy this weather, before it’s time to make some tacos!!
Have a wonderful weekend!!
Lovely French tulips!! Hubby actually surprised me with these, thank you! Talk about spring feelings, even though it was snowing again last night. I’m so done winter!!!
If someone wonders why we have two faucets right there…one is regular water and the otherone is filtered water. I just can’t get used to the regular tap water here, it tastes like pool water to me! And thanks to this we don’t need to buy lots of bottled water, which is better for the environment!
Gotta love crispy tulips!! This blue pot, a favorite from Cb2, has been on my kitchen island for a long time now! Must be a record.
How’s your day going? I just dropped off a happy Oliver at his new pre school, that I’m very excited about. This will be a better fit for him and his speech issues, more info about that to come.
I’m now on my way to Advanced Plumbing to pick out another sink for the renovation house, plus I have friends coming with me that need some help with their bathroom renovation, fun!
Have a great day my friends!

What a different some green plants and fresh flowers can do!! The last two days I’ve been working a lot, ordering lights, another trip to Ikea and meetings with my contractor. It’s going really well and it’s so much fun!
It’s dinner time here. We haven’t eaten spagetti and meat sauce in awhile, so that’s on the menu. For dessert we’ll have Swedish chocolate balls, yum. Eddie-Bo is having double sided ear infection, so than you need something extra yummy, plus he said yes to baking!
And hopefully my hubby agrees on finally watching Homeland later tonight, that started Sunday night. Love that show!
