Adam Levine in Maroon 5, a great company in the laundry room :) And with a cup of coffee, podcasts or tv I really like being in here! I’m on a hunt for new laundry baskets. I’ve had the same ones for ten years and the wheels are falling off and they are not sturdy anymore. Hit me if you know some good-looking ones! Also, what favorite podcasts do you have? I normally listen to Adam och kompani, Veckans Bläcka och Fredagspodden, all Swedish as you can tell.
My last days in Sweden was really busy and I realized on the airplane that I forgot to take photos of our new laundry room. Since Johan was still there, I hired him to do the job!
He didn’t clean and made it perfect blog friendly though ;) Lots of building dust and dirt, and this was before the electrician was there to do his job. But anyway I’m so happy about the result!! Shelfs, a rod and lights are still left to install.
Beautiful custom cabinets – Falerumkök (Painted in Beckers Tjäle) Handels- Buster and punch (same as in the kitchen) Faucet – Tapwell Tile – from Megakakel Linköping (klinker alltså, fast det ser ut som trä).
I’m addicted to Game of Thrones. Time for two (maybe three) more episodes before bedtime!
Welcome to my laundry room Adam Levine!!
Let’s talk about my husband and his amazing humor! This was one of his Xmas gifts for me :) He ordered this signed poster and framed it, because he was sorry for me that I didn’t get to meet my favorite Adam when we went to The Voice, hahaha!! Gotta love him. And Adam ♥
This basket is for all single socks, how is it possible to get so many of them all the time? Most time they show up in the next load, but still…
If you are building a new house, or if there is space for it in an older house, I can really recommend to have the laundry room on the second floor, close to all bedrooms. Also I have two linnen closets in here. All this saves lots of time and energy! And I love my BIG washer and dryer. Another smart tip, that I got from my friend Annika Lidström, mother of four, is to have a laundry basket in each kids room and wash their clothes separate, to save time when you are folding! I don’t do that, but if we would have more kids, yes!
